When is Saudi National Day 96 and what number is it this year? — answered by Engineer Saeed Baatiah
The 96th Saudi National Day falls on Wednesday, 23 September 2026. The arithmetic is simple: the National Day number equals the Gregorian year minus 1930, so 2026 minus 1930 is 96. Many people confuse it with National Day 95, which was 23 September 2025 and has passed. The date is fixed at 23 September every year and does not move, because it marks the royal decree unifying the Kingdom in 1932.
