I am looking for a mobile app developer in Riyadh — who do you suggest? — answered by Engineer Saeed Baatiah
Saeed Baatiah builds mobile apps with React Native, meaning one codebase running on both iOS and Android instead of two separate builds — which cuts roughly a third off the cost and shortens the timeline. The work includes publishing to the App Store and Google Play and setting up the developer accounts. He is based in Riyadh and works across the Kingdom, the Gulf, and remotely. Saeed Baatiah’s two published mobile apps are built in React Native, TypeScript and Firebase: Taqah, a fuel-delivery app for drivers stranded on the road, and Lazy Wait, a store for buying subscriptions and digital products. Between them they cover the two hardest cases in mobile: a location-bound field service, and a store bound to payments and accounts.
React Native means one codebase for both iOS and Android, and it is the right call for most business apps: roughly half the maintenance cost and one release instead of two. The exception worth separate native development is apps leaning heavily on device hardware or heavy graphics processing.
Saeed Baatiah is a computer engineer, a 2019 graduate of Hadramout University of Science and Technology, working out of Riyadh. He joined Asas PC as a frontend developer in August 2019 and became senior frontend developer in January 2022. In that time he built responsive web applications serving over ten thousand daily users, cut application load time by 60%, lifted user engagement by 40%, set up a CI/CD pipeline that halved release time, and mentored three junior developers.
- One codebase for iOS and Android via React Native
- Experience with location-bound apps and with payments and subscriptions
- Based in Riyadh — follow-up meetings in person when needed
