The problem it solves
Most free QR generators hand you a plain black square, stamp a watermark on it, or — worse — mint a redirect link on their own domain that stops working later or when their subscription lapses, leaving the code printed on your signage useless. And when you try to place your logo in the middle, the code breaks and stops scanning.

What it does not do
This tool creates static QR codes, meaning the data is encoded inside the code itself. That is why it works with no server and never expires — but it also means you cannot change the destination after printing, and you cannot count scans. If you need a dynamic code whose destination can be edited later with scan analytics, that requires a server and a domain of your own, which is custom work beyond this free tool.

01How do I get a Saudi shape — a dallah or a palm — to appear inside the code itself?
Pick the “shape inside the code” style, then choose from 27 motifs: heritage (dallah, finjan, incense burner, oud, majlis, tent, ardah sword, teapot, dates, pearl), nature (palm, sidr tree, camel, falcon, Arabian horse, oryx, desert rose, dunes, crescent), architecture (Najdi gate, Najdi tower, minaret, mashrabiya) and pattern (Sadu star, Najdi triangles, eight-point star, dhow). The shape is not pasted on top and covers no module: the code’s own modules are recoloured — dark ones in the shape’s colour, gaps in a pale wash — so the dallah emerges from the code’s own fabric. Because a reader sorts modules by luminance rather than hue, the data is untouched.
02Does the code still scan after a shape is added?
Yes — and it is guaranteed by testing, not by estimation. Every code the tool produces is decoded by a real reader inside your browser before you see it and before it exports. If a shape would stop your particular content scanning, the tool shrinks it and checks again; if no size works it removes the shape and keeps the code intact — and tells you which happened. The reason is that the module pattern changes with the content, so no single shape size is valid for every link. The only honest guarantee is to test each code on its own.
03Is there a ready-made frame for Saudi National Day 96?
Yes. The tool ships 12+ ready-made frames: four in the national green identity (emerald, palm, sand, badge), eight National Day 96 colour tiles (teal, olive, vermillion, purple, magenta, forest, ocean, saffron), a Founding Day frame, and six Sadu-pattern frames. 04When is Saudi National Day 96, and how do I prepare a QR for it?
The 96th Saudi National Day falls on Wednesday 23 September 2026 (the rule is year minus 1930). To prepare a QR for it: choose the content type (an offer link, a WhatsApp number, a vCard, or a guest WiFi network), pick the National Day 96 frame that matches your brand colours, add your logo in the middle, and export as SVG or PDF if it is going on signage or large print — unlike PNG, neither loses quality when scaled up.
05Does the QR code I create here expire or stop working?
No. This tool creates static codes, and the data is encoded inside the code itself rather than on a server. It never passes through a redirect link owned by me or any third party, so it keeps working forever even if this website disappears entirely. There is no limit on the number of scans.
06Why did my QR code stop scanning after I added my logo?
Because the logo covers part of the code’s data. A QR code tolerates a certain amount of data loss depending on its error correction level: level L tolerates around 7% while level H tolerates around 30%. This tool raises the level to H automatically the moment you upload a logo, and caps the logo at 40% of the code’s area, which is why it keeps scanning. If you use another generator, raise the correction level to H manually and shrink the logo.
07Can I use the QR code in commercial print and signage?
Yes — use is entirely free, commercial, watermark-free and requires no attribution. For print choose SVG, which is vector and loses no quality at any size, or PNG at 2048px. The PDF format suits posters and restaurant menus. Before sending to a printer, always scan the exported final file itself with your phone to confirm it reads.
08Are the links or data I enter saved anywhere?
No. Generation happens entirely inside your browser in JavaScript, and nothing you type — a link, a WiFi password, or vCard details — is sent to any server, mine or anyone else’s. You can verify this yourself: open the network tab in your developer tools and you will see that creating a code issues no network request at all.
09What are the National Day frames and can I edit them?
They are ready-made decorative frames in Saudi green with original geometric patterning, composited around the code on export together with the occasion’s wording. The ornament is my own design and does not reproduce the official annual National Day identity, the state emblem, or the flag, since those carry legal usage restrictions. You can also upload your own frame as a PNG or SVG and control the code’s position and size within it.
