The Petrified Trees Museum is a private Saudi initiative housed in the Riyadh home of Counselor Mohammed Ibrahim Al-Muhaisen. It gathers petrified wood and fossilised coral evidence from across the Kingdom and presents them inside a living environment that combines standing trees, native plants, water, shade, vernacular mud architecture, and Saudi hospitality. It is neither a commercial facility nor a government body — it is a self-funded personal effort to preserve natural and architectural heritage and introduce it to younger generations and the Kingdom’s guests.
