Ask: which technologies will you use and why those specifically? Who owns the code and the accounts after delivery? What happens if the project slips? What is not included in the price? How do I request a change and what does it cost? How long is post-launch support? And finally: show me a past project and tell me the biggest mistake you made on it. That last answer reveals more than the entire portfolio.
