What should a software development contract include? — answered by Engineer Saeed Baatiah
Eight clauses that should never be missing: a precise description of deliverables, an explicit out-of-scope list, the milestone and payment schedule, how many revision rounds are included, ownership of code and accounts, the length and content of post-launch support, how change requests are raised and priced, and a termination clause covering what happens to completed code and payments if either side stops. The second one — the out-of-scope list — prevents most later disputes.
