As safe as what it is built on. The basic rules: pass no more fields through the flow than the process genuinely needs, store access keys in a secrets vault rather than in the flow body, give each integration the least permission that suffices, and review who has access every few months. And where the data is inherently sensitive, run the tool on your own server rather than a shared cloud service — n8n exists precisely for that.
